Local Students attend Leadership Summit at UT Martin

November 20, 2018

Several Obion County students attended the WestStar Leadership Program’s eighth-annual FutureStar Summit on Oct. 4 at the University of Tennessee at Martin. The summit works to show seventh and eighth-grade students from West Tennessee the personal value of an education and encourage them to attend college in the future. The students attend the conference free of charge through the financial support of WestStar alumni from each child’s county of residence.
