FHS Lady Bulldogs win vs. Lake Co.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lake County Lady Falcons last night 42-33.

Lady Bulldogs were lead in scoring by Kyisha Everett with 18 points. Jasmine Donald added 11, ZaKira Kinney poured in 9 and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Jada Martin and Shamarra McManus both chipped in 2.

The Lady Bulldogs move to 4-1 after the win and will play South Fulton Lady Red Devils at South Fulton High School Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.

On Nov. 30, the Lady Bulldogs got the victory over Ballard Memorial Lady Bombers, 48-29, thanks to 19 points from Zakira Donald and 18 from Shamarra Kinney. Kyisha Everett recorded seven points, Takyra Taylor added three and Jada Martin had one point for the night.

The next night, on Saturday, the FHS ladies dropped their first game so far in the season, at Dawson Springs.

Kinney lead the team with 22 points and 11 rebounds, with Everett and Donald pouring in nine a piece, Taylor with three and Martin, one.

It was two up and two down as Fulton High School’s Lady Bulldogs defeated St. Mary in a season opener Nov. 26, and put away CCA on the road the next night.

In the 58-38 win over St. Mary, Shamarra Kinney lead the way with 23 points, including a three pointer in the second quarter, and 13 rebounds.

Teammate Kyisha Everett bucketed 10 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Donald had nine points for the night, followed by Jayda Martin with eight and Taylor with four.

McManus and McCloyn scored two a piece.

Kinney topped out the Lady Bulldogs’ score with 20 points on their way to the 60-42 win over CCA, also collecting 19 rebounds.

Everett recorded a double double, pumping in 11 points and 11 boards.

All Lady Bulldogs saw fruitful action on the court, with Donald scoring 10 points, Taylor, seven, McManus, six, Martin, three, McCloyn two and Ferrell, one.
