First week foes hurt HCHS

Hickman County Falcons began their season Nov. 27 with a 65-29 loss to Lake County.

The Falcons took a loss Nov. 30 at St. Mary with a final score of 68-40.

JD McClanahan was the highest scorer in that game scoring 11 points with two baskets from the two-point range and seven successful free throws.

Jackson Midyett made one three-pointer and four free throws to add seven points to the Falcons score. Johnson made one three-point shot and two free throws for five points.

Austin Puckett made two two-point shots to add four points for Hickman County. Garret Ward scored four points with one three-pointer and one free throw.

Dylan Hicks and Shajuanta Know both made one from the three-point range to add six points to the Falcon score. Eli Prince made one two-pointer and Sam Dodson made one free throw to contribute to the score for Hickman County.
The Falcons wrapped up the first week of the season Dec. 1 with a loss to Livingston Central at home. The final score was 67-52.
