Lady Bulldogs beat Pilots
The Fulton City Lady Bulldogs picked up a big district win, with their 54-28 victory over Fulton County.
The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an 18-4 first quarter lead, thanks to three made 3-points shots by Shamarra Kinney.
Fulton City increased their advantage to 15 points, with a 28-13 halftime lead.
With Fulton County’s leading scorer, Delaynee Cermak, leaving the game with an ankle injury early in the third quarter, the Lady Bulldogs mounted a 19-8 scoring run to go on top 47-21.
The Lady Bulldogs took their beggest lead of the game, 52-23, with 5:55 on the clock in the fourth quarter.
Kinney led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points, followed by Kyisha Everett 10, Zikira Donals 9, Mia Martin 7, Takira Taylor 4, La’Tya McManus 2 and Jade Martin 2.
Fulton County was led by Delaynee Cermak 8, Jamya Pierce 5, Callie Coulson 4, Rhiannon Eakes 4, Alaya Barnett 3, Karlie Williams 3, Emily Meadows 2 and Brookelyn Chambers 1.
