STOKES HIRED AS INTERIM CITY MANAGER

Following Executive Session at Monday night's Hickman City Commission meeting, Mayor Heath Carlton, Commissioners James Adams, Robert Griggs and Judy Powell returned to open session and voted to offer the position of Interim City Manager to Cubb Stokes of Fulton, who was present for the city commission meeting. Commissioner Phillip Williams abstained from the vote, as he had previously applied for the permanent City Manager position. Other action taken as a result of Executive Session discussion included the hiring of Grace Sarsfield as City Treasurer, effective Jan. 23.
