Devils shut out Gleason with 11-0 win

vs. Gleason, March 19

The South Fulton Red Devils started their week with a win March 19, as they hosted and defeated the Gleason, Tenn. Bulldogs 11-0.

Janson Cook recorded the pitching win for the Red Devils.

Cook pitched all five innings during these five innings Cook allowed two hits, walked one batter, and struck out eight.

Beau Britt, Garrett Slaughter, Janson Cook, Eli Carlisle, and Jack Roney each recorded one run for the Red Devils. Brock Brown, Drew Barclay, and Bryce McFarland came around to score twice for the Red Devils.

The Red Devils recorded a total of nine hits from their 24 at bats.

The Red Devils were scheduled to travel across the border to Fulton to take on the Bulldogs, however, due to conflicts the game has been rescheduled for March 29 starting at 5 p.m.

vs. West Carroll, March 22

The Red Devils recorded another win March 22 as they hosted the West Carroll War Eagles, winning 13-8.

Brock Brown earned the pitching win for the Red Devils as he pitched three innings.

Brown allowed six hits, four walks, and three strike outs.

Janson Cook came in to close the game pitching three innings. During these three innings Cook struck out three batters and walked one.

vs. Greenfield, March 25

The Red Devils took on The Greenfield YellowJackets at home March 25.

The Red Devils couldn’t pull out a win as they fell 8-5.

Eli Carlisle was charged with the pitching loss.

Carlisle pitched six innings recording 11 strike outs and no walks.

The Red Devils are now 4-5 on the season.
