Shantez Tywon Burnside of South Fulton and Julie Lee Olds of Franklin, Tenn., have been bound over to the Obion County Grand Jury, scheduled to convene in June.

The pair are charged with aggravated robbery in connection to the robbery of Simmons Bank in South Fulton Feb. 20, when a male suspect entered the bank and demanded money, brandishing a knife.

The suspect then fled the bank on foot and running in the area behind The Lean-To restaurant.

The male suspect was allegedly picked up by a female driving the vehicle which they used to make the escape.

A number of law enforcement agencies aided in the ultimate apprehension of Burnside and Olds, including the South Fulton Police Department, the Fulton Police Department, the Obion County Sheriff’s Department and the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department. A Dresden, Tenn. Police Department Officer stopped the vehicle used by Olds and Burnside, south of Dresden.

The two were taken into custody and some of the money was recovered which had been taken from the bank.

Burnside was released on parole Feb. 1, after having been incarcerated with the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He faces charges of robbery and theft in connection to a Feb. 6 robbery in Fulton at Security Bank and Trust, as well.
