As we prepare for our final six weeks of the school year everyone at Carr Elementary in Fulton is hard at work. We have so many fun and exciting events planned to wrap up the 2018/19 school year.

One very special event is planned for April 18, from 5-7 p.m. “Real Men Read,” will be the theme for this year’s final Family Reading Night. We hope to see everyone on the front lawn to rack up on those AR points. We plan to have lots of special guest to read with our students.

I would like to take this time to say a very special “thank you” to Karen Dean, Sherri Langford, Tammy Crumble, and Tracey Pulley for all the hard work they have put into planning, preparing, and carrying out so many successful Family Reading events through out the year. We are blessed to have each of these ladies creating such a positive learning environment for our students!

Our students are working hard towards their goal of 200 AR points. Students that earn 200 or more points during the school year will earn a special field trip in the month of May. Students earning fifty or more points will be attending the AR party at school in May.
