The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Union City will offer a free workshop on “Giving and Receiving Empathy” May 18, from 2-4 p.m. in the church fellowship hall at 603 2nd St., Union City, Tenn. Refreshments will be provided, and Rev. Elaine Blanchard will lead the sessions. Contact with any questions.


Decoration Day at Little Obion Cemetery, Wingo, will be held May 18. A “dinner on the ground” will be held at noon, and meat and drinks will be provided. If unable to attend, contributions may be sent to Little Obion Cemetery Fund, c/o Barbara Tarver, P.O. Box 44, Clinton, Ky. 42031.


Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Chestnut Blade Rd., Weakley County, Tenn., needs donations for cemetery care. Funds should be sent to Susie Dixon, 154 Dixon Rd., Fulton, Ky. 42041.


Jackson Chapel will host an Ice Cream Supper May 31, rain or shine, starting at 5:30 p.m. Hamburgers, corn dogs, cake, pie and homemade ice cream will be available. The public is invited to attend.


David’s Chapel Baptist Church, Hickman, will host Revival at 7 p.m. nightly May 19-21. Guest speaker will be Bro. Carl Southerland. A light meal will be served before services. The public is invited to attend.


Store House Ministries, 311 Main St., Fulton, is in need of monetary donations to provide clothes and food to families who qualify for assistance. Donations may be sent to Store House Ministries, 405 W. State Line, South Fulton, Tenn., 38257. Store House Ministries is open Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.


A Community Luncheon will be held at the Cayce Baptist Church the second Wednesday of each month starting at 12 p.m. The public is invited to attend.


A free community lunch will be served every Saturday from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the following churches in Fulton and South Fulton: First Church of the Nazarene, corner of North College and Green Streets, Fulton, for the first Saturday of each month, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; second Saturday at First Baptist Church, 115 Second St., Fulton; third Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St., Fulton; fourth Saturday at First Christian Church, 108 Carr St., Fulton; and fifth Saturday at Brooks Chapel RRCC Center on Lake St., Fulton. The public is invited to attend.
