South Fulton’s Robertson, Whitten address classmates at 2019 Commencement May 17

Carly Robertson, daughter of Don and Lori Robertson earned the honor of Valedictorian of the South Fulton High School Class of 2019, with Valerie Whitten, daughter of Todd and Tina Whitten receiving the Salutatorian honors.

Each young lady addressed their classmates, family and faculty during the graduation ceremony held May 17 in the SFHS gym.

Rounding out the academic Top 10 for the class were number 10, Amber Lemon, number nine, Erin McDaniel, number eight, Maegan Johnson, number seven Owain Ballance, number six, Alexis Brown, number five, Blake Johnson, number four Valeria Rico-Jimenez and number three, Karlee Meadows.

Tennessee Scholars included Robertson, Whitten, Rico-Jimenez, McDaniel, Lemon, Johnson, Gracy Davidson, Carlie Rodgers, Anna Simmons and Justin Wade.

Challenge Program graduates included Robertson, Whitten, Ballance, Brown, Johnson, Meadows and Rico-Jimenez.

Other members of the South Fulton High School Class of 2019 who were awarded diplomas Friday evening were Payton Allen, Dashun Bradshaw, Lastacia Courtney, Harley Davis, Jacob Duty, Charlie Brook Hamlin, Morgan Holtzclaw, Lakevia Hunt, Maegan Johnson, Harleigh Joy, Kory Rylen Kelly, Asia Martin, Josey McIntyre, Caitlynn Morton, Loren Park, Alyssa Rucker, Riley Hunter Simmons, J.B. Walker, Alexus Watkins, James C. Little and Michael Reeves.
