Fulton High School Class of 2019 Honors Night held

Seniors in the Fulton High School Class of 2019 were recognized for their achievements May 13, during Senior Honors Night.

Jaron Pryor was awarded the DPP Scholarship for Perfect Attendance since fifth grade, Career Ready designation was awarded to Nicholas Lucy and Crissie Purcell, Computer Programing, and Drew Malray, Business Management and Cinematography/Video Production.

Academic All State Awards were presented to Nicholas Lucy, First Team Academic All State for Baseball; Hannah Pannell, Volleyball and Softball; Jaron Pryor, Baseball; and Honorable Mention Academic All State, to Drew Malray for basketball and baseball, Keith Martin, football and baseball and Kereni Ware, Volleyball, softball and track.

English IV/Writing Award was received by Kelsey Lannom, the Yearbook Awards went to Editor in Chief Hannah Pannell and Co-Editor, Kereni Ware, Literature Award and College Prep Math Awards, Drew Malray.

The Pre-Calculus Award was presented to Lucy, the English Dual Credit Award to Purcell, the Broadcasting Award to Malray and the Broadcasting Outstanding Student award to Amelia Dickerson.

Lucy received the Physics Award, Kelsey Lannon, the ACT Prep Award, Malray, the Senior Homeroom Entrepreneurship Award, Dickerson the Leadership Award, in Mrs. Pledge’s class, Crissie Purcell, the TCMO Scholarship and Zakira Donald, the Woodman Life Scholarship.

Lucy and Pannell received the American Legion Scholarship award.

Trinity Tibbs received the Four Rivers AGC Certification in Automotive Technology, Maintenance and Light Repair, Steering and Suspension and Engine and Repair certifications.

Keith Martin received the Four Rivers Welding Certification and Jaron Pryor received Certifications in the Four Rivers Brakes-Automotive, Brakes-Heavy and Medium Truck, Engine and Repair, Maintenance and Light Repair, Four Rivers Student of the Year, AGC Student of the Year, and the AGC $1000 cash prize.

Nicholas Lucy was awarded the Lions Club scholarship, Purcell, the ASAP Scholarship, Malray the FCEA Scholarship and Pannell, the Kelly W. Johnson Scholarship. Purcell was awarded the Community Honor Scholarship.

Whipple Scholarship recipients included Donald, DeKaybrun Jordan, Sierra Todd, Kameron Trice, Kereni Ware, Cayla Holdman, Lucy, Malray, Martin and Purcell.

Lucy received the Mary Hughes Burrow Scholarship, the Earnest L Baulch Scholarship and the Valedictorian Award.

Crissie Purcell received the Fulton County Conservation award, the Berea College Scholarship, the Helen McGee Scholarship and the Salutatorian Award.

Kameron Trice, Sierra Todd and Kereni Ware received the Fulton Count Conservation awards; Cayla Holdman received the Helen McGree Scholarship; and Hannah Pannell received the Honors/Mastery/CCR award.
