KENTUCKY STATE POLICE ARREST SOUTH FULTON RESIDENT

While on a routine patrol in Fulton County, KSP Trooper James Steward observed a Nissan Acura being driven with an expired registration plate, and conducted a stop on the vehicle, on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, June 3 at approximately 10:10 p.m. The driver, identified as Keith A. Walsh, 57 of South Fulton, gave consent to search and several suspected crack cocaine rocks were found on his person, according to a press release issued by the KSP.

Walsh was arrested and charged with Failure to or Improper Signal, No Registration Plate, Resisting Arrest, Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd degree, on foot, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Offense, Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Walsh was lodged in the Fulton County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
