Photographers’ Guild

The West Tennessee Photographers Guild will meet June 13 at 6 pm at the Obion Co. Public Library. Anyone interested in learning more about photography is invited to attend.

TCMO Fish Fry

The Twin Cities Men’s Organization, TCMO, will sponsor a Fish Fry at Fulton’s Pontotoc Park community building June 29, beginning at 5 p.m. Eat in or take out dining will be available. The menu includes fish, hushpuppies, fries, slaw, white beans and a drink for $10. All proceeds go to benefit the organization’s community projects.

Conservation Meeting

The Fulton County Conservation District Board of Directors will meet June 19 at 8 a.m. in their office at 1811 S. 7th. St. STE 2A, Hickman.

NWTDD Meeting

The Northwest Tennessee Development district Executive Committee and Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency Policy Council will meet in regular session at 10 a.m. June 28 in the Northwest Tennessee Development District and Human Resource Agency conference room, 124 Weldon Dr., Martin, Tenn.

Foodbank Distribution

The Ken-Tenn Foodbank will distribute commodities to Fulton County Seniors, CSFP, living in poverty June 21 from 10-11 a.m. Distribution to Fulton County households living in poverty, TEFAP, will be June 28 from 10 – 11 a.m. Poverty is defined as having income of less than $1,316 per month. All events will take place at the Foodbank, 212 Carr St., Fulton.

Healthy Carlisle 5K

The second annual 5K Color Run/Walk will be held Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. will be held in Arlington, with proceeds to go toward finishing the Healthy Carlisle Walking Trail at the City of Arlington, behind Dr. Zetter’s office at 100 KY-80, Arlington. Vendors and volunteers are now being sought. Forms are available at or at the Arlington City Hall. Seniors Night Out

Smiles on Seniors “Night Out” will be held the second Thursday of each month at The Keg Restaurant, Lake Street, Fulton at 5:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are invited to join other seniors for the monthly Dutch treat group dinner.

Lunch Bunch

Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S. Lunch Bunch meets the first Monday of each month at Pizza Hut meeting room, N. Highland Drive, in Fulton, 11:30 a.m. All seniors age 55 and older are invited to attend.

Hickman Co. Commodities

The Mission House, in Clinton, distributes CSFP (cheese) commodities monthly to Hickman County residents 60 years and over, who meet the income guidelines and are pre-registered. Pick up dates are Thursday and Friday after the third Tuesday of each month. 

Arts Council

The Hickman County Arts Council meets the fourth Monday of each month at 4 p.m. at The Young Center in Clinton. The public is invited to attend. The website is

Hickman Co. Museum

Hours of operation for the Hickman County Museum, in Clinton, are Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. 

Hickman Co. Library

Hickman County Library in Clinton is open Tuesdays through Fridays, 2-5 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

City Council Meeting

The Clinton City Council meets the first Monday of each month at 5 p.m. in the Clinton City Hall. The meeting is open to the public. 

Columbus Council

The Columbus City Council meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at Columbus City Hall. The meeting is open to the public. 

Mission House

The Mission House, in Clinton is open Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and the first Saturday of each month. 

Genealogical Society

W.O.W. Meeting

Woodmen Life meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Keg restaurant, downtown Lake Street, Fulton. Members pay $4 for the meal. For more information, call 270-472-9498.

Senior Book Club

Senior Book Club, sponsored by Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S. and the Fulton Public Library, meets the second Monday of each month at the Park Terrace Recreation Room, 712 Broadway, South Fulton. 10:30 11:30 a.m. Books are provided to seniors age 55 and older, to read and discuss at the following month’s meeting. The Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop, in the back of the Willingham Center, Carr Street, Fulton, is open Mondays and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Coffee and pastries are served, along with fellowship, and donations are accepted for local mission projects. The public is invited.

Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous will meet each Monday at 7 p.m. and Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the RRCC building, 400 Lake St., downtown Fulton. The meetings are open to the public.

Family Group

Nar-Anon Family Group will be held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at 115 Second St., Fulton. This is for family and friends of a loved one in addiction, not the addict.

Drug Rehab

Narconon reminds families use of addicting drugs is on the rise to take steps to protect family members from drug use, and help those struggling with drug addiction get them the assistance they need.
