AREA SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN MAY BENEFIT FROM SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVE-AWAY

Fulton native Tony Burton and his family will once again stage an event at Fulton's City Park, to honor Burton's mother, Alice Burton, by giving away school supplies, backpacks and t-shirts as well as providing free food, music and games to area children.

The give-away is Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fulton's city park with school aged children to receive school supplies and backpacks, through the provision of donations and contributions.

Burton has stated the annual give-away is a means by which he, and others can give back to the community.
