Jerry Ray Granger, a resident of the Moscow community near Clinton, died Sept. 5 at his residence. He was 64.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the Moscow Baptist Church, in Clinton, with Rev. Timmy Stinson officiating. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5 - 7 p.m. Sept. 7 will be at the Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica Hutton Granger, of Clinton; his mother, Katherine Neal Granger, of Jonesboro, Ark.; four daughters, Stephanie McGlacken (Chris), of Springhill, Tenn., Tawnya Vinson, of Clinton, Tonya Martin (Dennis), of Heber Springs, Ark., and Nikkole Henley, of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Granger of Paragould, Ark., Steve Granger, of Jonesboro, and Albert Granger, of Brooklin, Ark.; and two sisters, Judy Butler and Brenda Shelton, both of Jonesboro.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester “CL” Granger.

Born Oct. 7, 1954 in Jonesboro, he was a member of the Moscow Baptist Church and was an employee of the Hickman County Road Department where he worked in road construction.

He had lived in the Moscow community for the past 33 years.
