Judy Kay Mullis, a resident of Fulton, died Sept. 22 at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was 72.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 26 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, in Fulton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie K. Mullis, of Fulton, and Judy Lynn Mullis Ashley, of Hickman; a son, John Franklin Mullis, Jr., of Dresden, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Deloris Dunn, of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Leslie and Lottie Root Johnson; her husband, John Franklin Mullis Sr.; a daughter, Charlene Wynate Mullis; three brothers; and six sisters.

Born Dec. 20, 1946 in Parma, Mo., she was of the Baptist faith and lived most of her life in Florida, Georgia and Michigan.

She was a Peer Specialist for Four Rivers Behavioral Health.
