Integrity Park Terrace Assisted Living looks to grow, thrive, under new ownership

by Benita Fuzzell

Dana Coffey, Administrator for Integrity Park Terrace Assisted Living in South Fulton was thrilled with the community support exhibited Nov. 13 for the facility’s ribbon cutting and grand opening, and hopes those who were unable to attend will stop in at 712 Broadway, to see what’s new and what is still the same.

With a recent change in ownership, Park Terrace Assisted Living is now part of the company, Integrity, in operation for over three years. According to Integrity’s CEO, Chris Damiani, Jim Kornita, the company’s Director of Special Projects, and Jonathan Short, the CFO, the facility has undergone a major “facelift” with more improvements and expansions of services planned for the future.

With capabilities to accommodate 36 residents for Assisted Living, as well as Independent Living, the staff of familiar faces at Integrity Park Terrace are able to provide assistance with medications and hygiene, as well as meals, housekeeping and laundry services.

Plans are in the works to add an Activities Director position to the already 17-20 part time and full time employees who work there. Another feature to be implemented will be a mode of transportation for residents who are able to travel, for day trips and activities off site.

Local contractors were used for approximately 80% of the major renovations completed during the transition, including landscaping, tree removal, flooring and construction.

While quality care is the focus for those who call Integrity Park Terrace Assisted Living their home, Coffey would like to see more interaction between the residents and community members, as the expansive, mult-level structure offers large meeting areas for civic organizations or special events.

“We don’t come in and tamper with success,” said Damiani, adding “we just want to add to that success. We focus on properties which are mostly family owned and operated. We want to see this project grow and thrive, and we will do all we can to do that. We also need to have the support of the community and by the response we received for the ribbon cutting, I believe we have that.”
