Lady Pilots end season with loss to HCHS girls

The Fulton County Lady Pilots had their season come to an end, with a loss to Hickman County in the First District Tournament.

The Lady Falcons defeated Fulton County 68-18, leaving coach Leonard Smith’s team winless on the year.

During the opening game of the district tournament, the Lady Pilots were hampered with shooting from the floor, hitting only 7-of-37 shots for just under 18%.

Fulton County failed to convert any of their shots from outside the three-point arc, going 0-for-6, while only converting 4-of-16 shots from the free throw line.

TaKyiah McNeal was the leading scorer for Fulton County with 11 points, followed by Javonna Davis 4, Callie Coulson 2 and Rhiannon Eakes 1.

There were 10 players who entered the scoring column for Hickman County, who increased their season record to 18-10.

Rancey Skaggs led all scorers on the night with 16 points.
