SOUTH FULTON 2020 GRADUATE TO PURSUE EDUCATION, PLAY GOLF AT ALLEGHENY COLLEGE

South Fulton Senior and member of the Class of 2020 Jenny Beth Brundige will continue her education at Meadville, Pennsylvania’s Allegheny College and play golf there as well. Brundige, the daughter of David and Cindy Brundige of South Fulton, has received an academic scholarship to attend the university, and has been recruited to participate in the golf program, competing in the NCAA Division III. In her high school golfing career, Brundige finished 15th overall in the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association Small Class state tournament in the Fall. She made two state tournment appearances during high school play, her senior year finishing second in the District and third in the Region, scoring consistently in the low 40s. Brundige plans to major in biochemistry and minor in music performance. On hand for the signing were her parents, her brother, David Kent Brundige, South Fulton High School Golf Coach Curt Lee and SFMS/HS Principal Kimberly Jackson. (Photo submitted)
