Public meetings set for Monday night

Two special called meetings and one regularly scheduled meeting are scheduled for Aug. 6, as the South Fulton city commission meets at 3:30 p.m., the city of Fulton's recently formed Parks Board will meet at 6 p.m. and the Obion County Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. in the Central Office of the Obion County Board of Education in Union City, Tenn.

On the agenda for South Fulton's Commission is discussion and review of the first reading previously held, for the fiscal year 2018-19 city budget. Also listed is the budget's second reading, and consideration for the acceptance and approval of Budget ordinance 2018-001.

The South Fulton Commission meeting will be held in the conference room of the South Fulton Municipal Complex.

Members of the City of Fulton's Parks Board will meet for the first time, to discuss powers and duties; elect officers; discuss regular meeting dates; consider questions and goals for forming a plan; and comments from the public.

All three meetings are open to the public.
