Fulton Independent’s Summer Learning Program offers prizes, incentives

This Summer, Fulton Independent School district has launched a summer learning program which will give students the opportunity to be eligible for special incentives and prizes.

Every Monday and Wednesday, the FIS Fresh Van will distribute reading/math packets to students while distributing lunches. Students are to complete the work at home, and turn in the completed work by Aug. 10 to the Fresh Van staff or at the Fulton Independent Board Office on West State Line.

Students are then entered into a drawing for a variety of prizes, with all participating students to receive a prize from Pizza Hut.

Students in grades Kindergarten through second will be entered to win a bicycle, if all reading and math activities are completed and submitted. Students will be entered to win an Amazon Fire tablet if one subject is completed and submitted.

Students in grades third through fifth will be entered to win an Amazon Fire tablet if they submit all reading and math activities. The completion and submission of one subject by third through fifth graders will earn the chance for entering to win a slip and slide.

For students in grades sixth through eighth, the submission of all completed reading and math activities will result in the chance to win a television, while the submission of one completed subject will allow the opportunity to win an Amazon Fire tablet.

High School students in grades nine through 12 who submit one completed subject’s activities will be entered to win Air Pods, while the completion and submission of all reading and math activities will provide an opportunity to win a television.
