COVID-19 POSITIVE CASE REPORTED AT SFHS

August 25, 2020

According to Tim Watkins, Obion County School System's Director of Schools, following a South Fulton High School student's positive test for Covid-19, today, a number of students there as well as staff have been sent home, following CDC requirements, to quarantine for 14 days, as the result of contact with the student.

Watkins said sanitation requirements are already in place within the system, performed each night following school day, so that process will remain ongoing, with classes to remain in session at this point.

Watkins also stated there will be no football games played by the SFHS Red Devils for two weeks, with the team's most recent opponent, Stewart County, also having been notified of the positive case report.
