Blessings in a Box

August 20, 2018

This Big Red Blessing Box is stationed behind the South Fulton Municipal Complex, adjacent to the South Fulton Police Department parking lot, and is ready to assist those in need of non-perishable food items, as well as accept contributions. The box has been a work in progress for 10-year-old fifth grade student Ivy Kate Morris, who recruited her family to help her construct the box and spread the word. She attends South Fulton Elementary and is the daughter of Rob and Jamie Morris of South Fulton, who helped with her project, as well as her younger brother, Abe. South Fulton Mayor David Lamb offered his assistance in locating a good spot for the “blessing box.” The food items may be taken at any time, for those in need, and area residents may also restock the shelves whenever they choose, or notice the supply has been depleted.
