Fulton County High Invitational results listed

Fulton County High School hosted the Fulton County Invitational Aug. 25 with 13 teams participating in Elementary, Middle School and High School events.

Gabby Ault of St. Mary won the Elementary Mixed One Mile Run Girls event with a time of 6:30.10.

A time of 6:19.91 enabled Schaeffer Sipes of Fulton County to win the Elementary Mixed One Mile Run Boys event.

Middle School Girls Two Mile Run was won by Livee Seals of Black Oak Middle School with a time of 13:56.86.

Also competing in the Middle School Girls Two Mile Run meet from Hickman County (HC) and Fulton County (FC) were Audrey Tucker, fifth place, HC, 14:46.41; McKayden McClure, ninth place, FC, 15:20.70; and Caylee Slinkard, 28th place, FC, 20:23.05.

Jackson Chism of Hillcrest Middle School won the Middle School Boys Two Mile Run event with a time of 12:03.13.

Runners from Hickman County and Fulton County included Jacob Dodson, sixth place, HC, 12:47.08; Daniel Collins, seventh place, FC, 12:54.31; Logan Griffiths, ninth place, FC, 13:06.93; Elijah Goodman, 14th place, HC, 13:27.22; Isaiah Pettit, 15th place, HC, 13:34.55; James Clark, 23rd place, HC, 14:14.23; JB Johnson, 25th place, HC, 14:19.54; Luke Polsgrove, 36th place, HC, 15:07.02; Bentley Boaz, 40th place, HIC, 15:24.80; Logan Norwood, 47th place, HC, 16:10.10; and Noah Gordon, 55th place, HC, 17:26.73.

Hickman County’s team earned 64 points placing them in Third Place in the Two Mile Run Team Scores.

Varsity Girls 5,000 Meter Run winner was Kate Rogers of Paducah Tilghman with a time of 22:30.61.

Others from Hickman County and Fulton County participating were Emma Madding, ninth place, FC, 24:51.96; Marlena Sipes, 10th place, FC, 25:02.78; Callie Coulson, 11th place, FC, 25:24.55; Emma Harris, 18th place, HC, 29:04.41; Kathryn Stahr, 30th place, HC, 32:04.08; and Yulan Werking, 43rd place, FC, 44:07.47.

Varsity Boys 5,000 Meter Run top honors went to Charlie West of St. Mary with a time of 17:27.45.

Fulton County runners earned 56 team points placing them in second place, and Hickman County boys earned 65 team points giving them third place.
