Lady Bulldogs Volleyers split results last week

Fulton High School Lady Bulldogs’ volleyball team split decisions last week, both games on the road versus Hickman County Aug. 20 and St. Mary Aug. 23.

In the matchup with HCHS Lady Falcons, Sara Cathryn Hedgepath and Serrel Walker each recorded two aces, with Jada Martin making two kills for FHS.

Jasmine Reeves came in with two assists, and Hannah Pannell notched four digs, Martin three and Walker, two.

The Lady Bulldogs lost the contest, 3-0, 15-25, 8-25 and 20,25.

It was at St. Mary however, FHS redeemed the earlier defeat with a win, 3-1, 26-24, 15-25, 25-15, and 25-19.

Statistical leaders included Kyisha Everett with six aces, followed by Pannell with four and Martin with three.

Reeves once again came in with the top number of assists with nine and Everett recorded eight assists of her own.

Martin recorded nine kills, Kereni Ware, six and Walker, five.

Everett also lead in digs, with 12, with Martin, Jasmine Reeves and Walker adding 10, nine and five of their own.

The Lady Bulldogs’ record stands at 2-2.
