Lady Devils, Devils split with Cougars

The South Fulton Middle School Lady Red Devils led the first quarter with seven points compared to the Lady Cougars’ two points in the match-up against Hillcrest. The Lady Red Devils went into halftime tied with the Lady Cougars at 11 points.

At the end of the third quarter, the game was still tied up at 16 points.

The Lady Cougars took the lead late in the fourth quarter to make the final score 29-21 Jan. 11.

Lady Devil Maddie Gray led her team in scoring with 14 points and contributed four rebounds.

Journee Puckett added three points for the Lady Red Devils along with three rebounds.

Jenefer Wallace and Caroline Barclay both added 2 points.

The South Fulton Middle School Red Devils continued their 14-game win streak on eighth-grade night with a big win over the Hillcrest Cougars with a 30-point nightcap Monday night at home.

Dallas Whitehead led the Red Devils in scoring with 12 points. Connor O’Neal had 10 points on the night with 3 rebounds and four steals.

Brady McFarland had six points with four steals. Dane Cirkles and Connor Lawrence each had three points. Josh McKnight and Kaedyn Haynes added two points each.
