EXTRA HELP FOR FOOD BANK
January 20, 2021
Ginger Bard, left, director of the Ken-Tenn Food Bank, takes delivery of an emergency food box from Donna Hacker, Account Executive of Lifeline Home Health Care of Fulton. Lifeline’s box is one of 32 given so far by individuals, organizations, and businesses in response to the food bank’s request for additional assistance in the months of January, February, and March, when utility bills make it harder for people in need to afford food. According to Bard, about 26% of Fulton County residents are food insecure, without adequate nutritious food. Those in need or to contribute to meet the need may contact the Ken-Tenn Food Bank by calling Fulton First United Methodist church office at 270-472-3514. (Photo submitted)
