Kenneth E. Jones

Kenneth E. "Pops" Jones, 65, of Water Valley, passed away April 7, at Baptist Health of Paducah.

He was born on August 12, 1955, in Obion County, Tenn., to the late Ernest "Junior" and Betty McQueen Jones. He had worked for Tokai Carbon and retired from the former Turner Dairies where he worked in the Blow Mold Department.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Genise Hobbs Jones of Water Valley; two children, Brad (Rebecca) Jones of Mayfield, and Kerri (Austin) Clark of Mayfield; two precious grandchildren, Summer and Ben Clark of Mayfield; a brother Morrison (Joan) Williamson of Hickman; two sisters, Sue (Frank) Bowen of Brighton, Ill., and Melissa Kolwych of Troy, Tenn.; and brother-in-law Jerry (Mary Ann) Hobbs of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and his in-laws.

There will be no services held at Hornbeak Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by Mass at St. Edward Catholic Church in Fulton. Burial will follow in the St. Jerome Cemetery in Fancy Farm.
