GIVING BACK THROUGH BACK PACK GIVE-AWAY

Members of Riceville Baptist Church recently completed filling dozens of backpacks for school aged children in Fulton and South Fulton, with articles of clothing, toys, food, Bibles, fleece throws, stuffed animals and other essentials and gifts. There were 25 backpacks filled for Carr Elementary students and 25 backpacks filled for South Fulton Elementary students, with Guidance Counselors at each school to distribute the backpacks for the church. Judy Milner was the event organizer and volunteers worked throughout the year to purchase items for placement in the backpacks. Riceville Baptist Church volunteers who assisted with the project for the backpack give-away included Phyllis Hart, Debbie Rushing, Dotty Burcham, Pat McMinn, Jesse Rushing and Kenneth Mulcahy.
