Fulton Co. CC takes run at BBQ on River

Fulton County Cross Country didn’t have a meet scheduled for the past weekend, however a few members headed to Paducah to participate in the Barbecue on the River 5K run, sponsored by Paducah Bank on Sept. 28. There were 293 registered for the event.

Nick Ryder of Herrin, Ill., won the event with a time of 17:15.1.

Fulton County’s Isaac Madding finished third with a time of 17:32.2. He was in Division 2.

Emma Madding of Fulton County, crossed the line in 48th place, and a time of 22:48.8, in Division 1.

McKayden McClure of Fulton County finished 69th in 24:53.3, in Division 2.

Chloe McClure was the overall girl’s winner in the 1-mile event.
