Luker named HCES Employee of Month

Hickman County Elementary School Employee of the Month for September is Deanna Luker.

She is one of the most versatile and dependable individuals at Hickman County Elementary.

Whether it’s working with a preschool student with special needs, helping fourth graders with a science assignment, or practicing phonics with a first grade student, Dee will take care of business while taking care of the students.

Mrs. Luker, commonly called “Miss Dee” at HCES, has been all over the building during her time at the elementary school.
Even now, on a given day, she assists numerous students in various grade levels and subjects, but manages to keep a smile almost always.

Despite often displaying an “all business” attitude, she also has a soft spot for the students, going above and beyond to make students feel loved and valued.
