Trunk or Treat to be held Oct. 27

October 09, 2018

The City of South Fulton’s Park and Recreation Board will once again stage the Community Trunk or Treat, this year set for Oct. 27 from 5-7 p.m. in South Fulton’s Unity Park.

Free hot dogs and drinks will be available, and area families, groups, churches, clubs and organizations may volunteer to set up and display an area within the park for children to visit and trick or treat.

In conjunction with the Trunk or Treat event, light poles within the park will be judged in a Decorating contest, for Most Kid Friendly, Most Spooky and Best All Around. These posts will be judged at 7 p.m. Oct. 22, with a $25 entry fee required. Cash prizes will be awarded. Forms may be obtained and entry fees paid at South Fulton City Hall, inside the Municipal Complex.

The rain date for the event will be Oct. 28 from 5-7 p.m.

Canned goods to be donated to area food banks will be accepted throughout the evening, from those who attend the Trunk or Treat event.
