Fulton County runners’ Invitational results listed

Fulton County Schools Cross Country team participated in the St. Mary Invitational held at Noble Park in Paducah on Sept. 17.

Girls 5K Run event Fulton County’s competitors included Hannah Varden, a Junior, 33rd place, with an average mile of 9:23.4, and a finishing time of 29:10.13; Kenzie Curry, Senior, 41st place, average mile of 10:17.7, and finishing at 31:58.89; and Cara Capps, Ninth Grade, 42nd place, with an average mile of 10:21.3; and finishing at 32:10.17.

The Boys 5K Run Fulton County’s finishers were John Rey Major, Junior, 34th place, average mile of 6:48.7, and finished at 21:09.73, and earning 24 points; Schaffer Sipes, Ninth Grade, 53rd place, average mile 7.28.6, and finishing at 23:13.61, earning 35 points; Damon Schmidt, Senior, 66th place, 8:00.5, and finishing at 24:52.69, earning 41 points; Collin DeHart, Ninth Grade, 74th place, 9:01.5 average mile, finishing at 28:02.26, and earning 44 points; and Tyler Jackson, Eighth grade, 82nd place, average mile 10:44.1, finishing at 33:21.02, and earning 46 points.

Team scores for the Boys 5K for Fulton County were Total time: 2:10:39.31, average time 26:07.87, a total of 190 points for Seventh Place.

The Girls 1600 Meter Run competitors from Fulton County included Abbigail Roebuck, Fifth grade, 40th place, 8:37.41; Emalyn Griffiths, Second grade, 66th place, 9:17.22; Kylee Curry, Sixth grade, 91st place, 10:33.14; and Madison Parks, Third grader, 112th place, 15:02.06.

The Boys 1600 Meter Run runners from Fulton County were Vincent Webber, Third grade, 72nd place, 8:44.03; Alex Rudy, Fifth grade, 90th place, 9:41.58; Rivers Parks, Third grade, 92nd place, 9:46.62; and Will Rudy, Fifth grade, 93rd place, 9:59.61.
