'Kicking Off' Case Tests at HCES

As incentive to do their best on the CASE reading and math tests, Hickman County Elementary students in grades 4, 5 and 6 took part in a kickball tournament in the afternoons recently. Mrs. Blalock’s sixth grade homeroom defeated Mrs. Easley’s fifth graders 4-3 in March 28’s championship game, which allowed Mrs. Blalock’s class to take on the HCES staff March 29. With the entire HCES student body and staff in attendance, Blalock’s class mounted an eight-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the game, 11-10. (Photo submitted)
