BANANA BAKE-OFF EQUALS BANANA BRILLIANCE, WINNERS SELECTED

Winners in the 2019 Banana Festival Bake-off have been announced by event chair Melissa Brown. Nicky Liliker won first in the banana cake division, and Lana Hannaman, second. In the banana pie category, Liliker won first and Hannaman second, with Brandie Ricks winning third place. For the pudding category, Lacy Huey won first, Judy Adams, second and Sandra Frazier, third. For banana bread, it was Liliker winning first, Dalton Morris, second and Letha Barnes, third. For the Miscellaneous category, Lisa Hutchins won first place, Hannaman second and Barnes, third. Grand prize winner, garnering a $100 prize was Lisa Hutchins.
