A BLAST OF RED, WHITE AND BLUE

July 07, 2020

The City of Hickman chose to move ahead with their traditional fireworks show, launched from the Hickman Harbor July 4. While there were no vendors or concessions on hand this year, a precaution taken because of Covid-19 restrictions, a large number of area residents were on hand to see the display, many seated atop the flood wall for an unobstructed view. Others chose to bring lawn chairs to the area and some remained in their vehicles throughout the show. South Fulton Daycare owner Angela Eaves, her staff and children who attend there chose to celebrate Independence Day early on July 2 as they paraded around the Circle Drive neighborhood in their patriotic attire.
