Fulton Independent School Veteran's Day

Fulton Independent Schools hosted a program Nov. 12 to honor area Veterans, with an invitation extended to them to occupy seats of honor in the FHS gymnasium, to hear the FMS and FHS choir perform patriotic songs, elementary school students recite special tributes, and listen to guest speaker and 1979 Fulton High School graduate Lt. Col. James Thompson. Following the program, a complimentary lunch was held in Fulton's Pontotoc Community Building, with all area Veterans invited to attend, along with their spouse. Karen Dean coordinated the lunch, with volunteers and private contributions assisting.
