AUTOMATIC AID AGREEMENTS INTACT FOR SOUTH FULTON RESIDENTS FOLLOWING FIRE CHIEF'S EXIT

Following action taken this morning by South Fulton City Manager Joyce Gray, South Fulton Fire Chief Dennis Pitman was issued his separation papers from employment with the City of South Fulton.

Assistant Fire Chief Kenneth Walker is out of town, undergoing training and will return on Friday, Feb. 17.

Gray has contacted Fulton County Dispatch and Obion County's Dispatch, regarding any fire emergency calls received, and the public should call 911 as usual for any emergency.

The local automatic aid agreement between the City of South Fulton and the City of Fulton, as well as between the City of Union City and South Fulton, will provide fire emergency coverage to all citizens of the city of South Fulton at this time, until SFFD Assistant Chief Walker returns.
