CLARKE UNIVERSITY BOUND – Keshawn Murphy, a 2018 graduate of South Fulton High School recently signed a Letter of Commitment to attend Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, and be a part of the school’s first ever football program. The son of Cory Algee of South Fulton and April Murphy of Fulton, he played in the linebacker position for the South Fulton High School Red Devils his senior year, after transferring from Fulton High School, where he played at the same post for the Bulldogs. While the private Catholic school, in the NAIA Conference, is over eight hours away from home, Murphy will have the advantage of a fellow Red Devil on staff at Clarke with Adam Hicks, a 2005 graduate of SFHS, who is the defensive coordinator of the program’s inaugural year. Murphy plans to major in Business/Marketing, and will report for classes this week, with football practice to begin the last week in August.
