Closure on KY 924 in Fulton County for Culvert and Erosion Control Work starts Monday, Feb 27
Work to take about two weeks to complete
PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 24, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 924 in Fulton County starting Monday morning, February 27, 2023.
KY 924 will be closed around mile point 1.15 to allow placement of sheet piling to help control erosion along about 50 ft of roadway and at a culvert that carries a branch of Little Bayou de Chien. This is along KY 924 between KY 1125 and KY 781 immediately east of the Jeffress Road intersection.
The roadway at this site is expected to close around 9 a.m.,CST, on Monday, and remain closed around the clock for about two weeks.
Due to placement of equipment required to facilitate the work there will be no through traffic for the duration of the project. Local access will be maintained for property owners on each side of the closure.
There will be no marked detour.
