AREA OBITUARIES - Virginia T. Ryan

Virginia T. Ryan, age 100, of Clinton, Ky., and formerly of Fulton, Ky., passed away Mon., March 20, 2023 at the Clinton-Hickman County ICF.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1923 in Wood River, Ill., to the late Mike Sadich and Mary Kovac Sadich.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a homemaker. She was a Rosary maker for over 35 years and had made over 10,000 and they were shipped all around the world. She was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross and was a baker for the Baptist Assembly in Green Lake, Wisc.

She is survived by two sons, Richard R. (Young) Ryan. of Carson City, Nev., and Ronald E. Ryan, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a daughter, Rebecca S. (Buddy) Caldwell, of Fulton, Ky.; and a grandson, Warren Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Robert Edward Ryan; three brothers; and five sisters.

Private family services will be held.
