FULTON-SOUTH FULTON ROTARY'S "JUMP INTO SPRING ON LAKE STREET" EVENT SAT., APRIL 8

Fulton-South Fulton Rotary Club will offer free coffee and donuts along Lake Street in Fulton, as well as downtown Fulton's Pontotoc Park Gazebo April 8, beginning at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for downtown shoppers, where businesses will have sidewalk sales and other specials, as well as registration for four $50 Chamber Bucks' prizes, a manicure and pedicure, to be given away at 1 p.m. A "Blessing of the Animals" will take place at 12 noon April 8 in the gazebo, with all pets invited, and a fundraiser will be conducted to benefit the Fulton Pound, "Pennies for the Pound." Pickup for pre-ordered Rotary Club smoked hams will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the caboose, adjacent to Lake Street. Proceeds from the ham sales go toward funding of Fulton High School and South Fulton High School scholarships for graduating seniors.
