FULTON COUNTY, SOUTH FULTON COMMUNITY INVITED TO RURAL PARTNERS NETWORK MEET AND GREET APRIL 11
As part of the USDA Rural Partners Network (RPN) forum to be conducted April 11-12 in Fulton, for local community partners including all of Fulton County and South Fulton, residents of partner communities are invited to a public Meet and Greet Tues., April 11, from 5-6:30 p.m. at The Meadows, 101 Commercial Ave. in Fulton.
Complimentary finger foods and beverages will be provided, with a cash bar also available.
Members of the community will have the opportunity to welcome a number of federal and state level agency representatives who form alliances with rural communities through the USDA program, to foster economic growth, help create jobs, build infrastructure and facilitate improvements for local RPN partners.
The Rural Partners Network forum will be held at Fulton's Pontotoc Community Center April 12, hosted by the Fulton County Fiscal Court and County Judge Executive Jim Martin. The all-day forum will include information provided by RPN Community Liaison Brad Rodgers, RPN Team Engagement Leader Christine Sorensen and Dr. Thomas Carew, State Director of the USDA, with an agenda structured to build collaboration by connecting the local RPN with targeted federal and civic partners while offering peer to peer learning opportunities for pre-registered participants.
