AREA OBITUARIES -- JANICE "JAN" ANN KING POLSGROVE

Mrs. Janice "Jan" Ann King Polsgrove, age 65, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn.

She was born on December 17, 1957in Fulton, Ky. to the late Edward King and Lucille Killebrew King.

Jan was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a seamstress at the former Henry I. Siegel and also Glen Contractors in Fulton, Ky.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jimmy" Richard Polsgrove, whom she married January 6, 1984, his children: Cory (Trish) Polsgrove of Fulgham, Ky. and Joy Rose of Fulgham, Ky., six grandchildren, four

great-grandchildren, a sister Joyce Jones of McConnell, Tenn., two nieces: Jennifer (Joey) Hannon of McConnell, Tenn., Melissa Jones of McConnell, Tenn., five great nieces and nephews and a special great-great nephew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Brian Polsgrove and a brother-in-law, Mike Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton's funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be Daniel King, Nathan Roberts, Jessie Hamlin, Jordan Brown, Derrick Giffin and Zack Hannon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie King, Joey Hannon, Hoyt Giffin and Chuck Roberts.
