AREA OBITUARIES – David Keith Rice

David Keith Rice, age 62, of Medina, Tenn., and formerly of Hickman, Ky., passed away Mon., Oct. 9, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 7, 1961 in Union City, Tenn., to the late Jackie Rice and Ruth Ann Sansom Rice, of Hickman.

David was of the Baptist faith and was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired from the Air Force after 26 years of service as a Master Sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Marie Rice, whom he married Aug. 7, 2014; his children:, Heather (Ryan) Moraney, of Cobden, N.H., David A. Rice, of Milan, Tenn., Carla Rangel, of Medina, Tenn., Felcia (Mike) Lefebvre, of Union City, Tenn., Brandon (Amanda) Garrigus, of Panama City, Fla., and Chrisopher (Brandy) Garrigus, of Hickman; his grandchildren, Abby (Trey) Elliott, of Union City, Chloe Rangelm of Martin, Tenn., Faith Tubbs, of Memphis, Tenn., Anna Lefebvre, of Union City, Addy Garrigus, of Panama City, Fla., and Atlas Miksa, of Milan; a great-grandchild, Miles Elliott, of Union City; a sister, Judy Baney, of Edinboro, Penn.; and a brother, Edward Rice, of Only, Tenn.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kennith Rice; and a sister, Tina Rice.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., Oct. 13, 2023 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Visitation will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman from 5 - 8 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 12.
