Fleeing suspect brandishes firearm, rams patrol vehicle

In an attempt to conduct a traffic stop Dec. 19 on a white Dodge pickup truck in the area of Kentucky Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Fulton, Fulton Police Sgt. Travis Bogue observed the vehicle begin to accelerate to a high rate of speed, traveling down Ky. 307, and then onto Holland Road, entering Hickman County from Fulton.

According to the press release issued by the FPD, the pickup then became stuck in a field, and the driver, later identified as 41-year-old Chad Bradley of Wingo, fled the scene on foot. Bradley was later apprehended.

While attempting to flee from Sgt. Bogue, Bradley brandished a firearm, according to the report, out of the window of the pickup, and rammed Bogue's patrol vehicle.

During the investigation, 16 grams of meth and over $1,000 in cash was located on Bradley's person and in his vehicle.

Bradley was arrested and charged with Trafficking Meth, 1st degree, Wanton Endangerment, 1st degree, Fleeing, 1st degree Motor Vehicle and Assault, 3rd degree, Police Officer.

Bradley is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
