Rodgers recognized at HCES

After many years in preschool, Lisa Rodgers was coerced to try a move. It has “worked out wonderfully”, as she was recently named the Hickman County Elementary School Employee of the Month for December.

Rodgers helps students in various grades, ranging from working with first graders in reading centers to helping sixth graders with math.

Rodgers also helps out in the office, answering phones and handling transportation requests each day. Plus, she still works with preschool students daily as she provides breaks to part of the preschool staff.

The move has been beneficial for all involved, as Rodgers’ versatility helps Hickman County Elementary students and staff on a daily basis. Rodgers’ pleasant demeanor and common sense approach is a big plus as well.

But even more than being a great asset at HCES, Rodgers adores her family, and especially loves being a grandmother.
