AREA OBITUARIES --ANNIE RUTH PIRTLE

Ms. Annie Ruth Pirtle, age 15, of Fulton, Ky. passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on May 5, 2008 in Union City, Tenn. to David Mack Pirtle II and Bridget Homra Pirtle of Fulton, Ky.

Annie Ruth was a member of the Fulton First United Methodist Church and was a 9th grader at Fulton City

High School. She loved being around family and friends and loved to watch Peppa Pig and Bluey.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister Elizabeth Pirtle of Fulton, her paternal grandparents:

David and Sharon Pirtle of South Fulton, Tenn., aunts and uncles: Kellea and David Grant of Rutherford, Tenn,, Stephanie and Chip Simmons of Lexington, Ky., Valerie and Mark Johnstone of Jackson, Tenn. and Michelle Wheat of Union City, Tenn., several cousins and her black lab, Loki.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mike and Joan Homra.

Private family services will be held.

A reception for Ms. Annie Ruth Pirtle will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Fulton First United Methodist Church from 3-5 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023.
