AREA OBITUARIES -- LESLIE H. SCOTT

Mr. Leslie H. Scott, age 82, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at The Waters in Union City, Tenn.

He was born on March 13, 1941 in Windsor Ontario, Canada to the late Harold Scott and Olga Scott.

Leslie was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church and was a United States Army Reserves veteran.

He retired from the former General Tire as a mechanic and enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey.

He is survived by his wife, Datha Witt Scott of South Fulton, Tenn., three daughters: Lisa (Mark) Vaughn of South Fulton, Tenn., Michelle Tynes of South Fulton, Tenn. and Tammy Stallsmith of Martin, Tenn., two sons: Eddie Gore of South Fulton, Tenn. and Matt (Stacy) Gore of South Fulton, Tenn., 11 grandchildren: Joshua Daniels of South Fulton, Zack Vaughn of South Fulton, Jessica Vaughn of South Fulton, Lance (Kayla) Scott of Manchester, Tenn., Jaye Gore of Paris, Tenn., Ashley Stallsmith of Memphis, Tenn., Shelby (Will) Tucker of Memphis, Tenn., Halle, Aubree, Anna and Braden Gore all of South Fulton, two great- grandchildren: Jared Daniels of South Fulton,

and Jagger Paige of Martin, Tenn.

Pallbearers will be Braden Gore, Josh Daniels, Jaye Gore, Jimmy Thorpe and Mikey Fields.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, December 28, 2023 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the

hour of service.
