SHOOTING AT MARTIN BAR ENDS WITH FATALITY; PUBLIC'S HELP SOUGHT WITH INVESTIGATION

Martin, Tenn. Police Department is now investigating a shooting which occurred in the early morning hours of Dec. 31 at Cadillac's Bar on Church Street in Martin.

According to the press released issued by the Martin Police Department, officers responded to Cadillac's at approximately 1:23 a.m. Sunday morning, in reference to an altercation and shots being fired.

When officers arrived they found 19-year-old Cameron Houston of Union City, Tenn., on the floor, bleeding from multiple gun shot wounds. Houston was taken to Volunteer Hospital in Martin, where he died as the result of his injuries.

No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation by the MPD Criminal Investigations Division.
